Lindsey grew up in San Luis Obispo County and founded Monarch in 2012. Lindsey has been a BCBA since 2009 and has been practicing Applied Behavior Analysis since 2006. Lindsey attended UCSB for her undergraduate degree, where she worked as a Clinician at the Koegel Autism Center. Lindsey then attended the University of Washington in Seattle for graduate school, where she completed her Practicum at the Haring Center for Research and Training in Inclusive Education. Lindsey is Board Member Emeritus, for the Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center, and continues to be an active volunteer for the non-profit organization. Lindsey also serves on the Appeal Review Committee for the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Board.
Whitney has been a BCBA with Monarch since 2014. Whitney has extensive experience supporting school based programs, as well as home programs. She has over 10 years of experience working with clients and families with special needs in a variety of settings. Whitney received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University and her Master of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University. Whitney also supports the coordination of services for our current and incoming clients
For over 16 years, Juri has worked in private and public schools, in home and community settings, and with non-profit organizations supporting children and adults with disabilities and behavioral needs. Juri has a master's degree in Special Education, Behavior Analysis, and has been a proud team member at Monarch since 2017.
Karen has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, supporting children with diverse needs, for 8 years. Karen received her Masters degree in Education and her teaching credential in Special Education from Vanderbuilt University in Tennessee. Karen received her Bachelors in English from UCLA.
Associate Behavior Consultant
Sydney has a Masters degree in Science, Curriculum and Instruction. She also holds Education Specialist and Multiple Subjects teaching credentials. Additionally, Sydney taught in a Special Education elementary classroom prior to working with Monarch. Sydney began working with Monarch in 2017 as a behavior technician. Sydney is currently a Registered Behavior Technician and is working on completing her national certification as a behavior analyst.
Nancy has lived on the Central Coast since 1996. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Nancy has extensive experience as a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant. She supports all the administrative needs of the Monarch Team Members. Nancy has been a proud team member at Monarch since 2017.
