REcipient of the center of Excellence AWARD, 2018-2020

Only the best providers in the nation are able earn the Center of Excellence seal. In 2018, Monarch Behavior Solutions was granted the prestigious distinction of the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence award.  

There are only a handful of providers in the state of California who have received the Center of Excellence seal. Monarch is honored to be the first behavioral provider in San Luis Obispo County to have received the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence award.  

Our Center of Excellence distinction, was awarded by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) Advisory Board, listing Monarch as one of the top providers in the nation for the 2018-2020 term. 

At the time of our award, we were required to undergo an extensive clinical evaluation process reviewing 40 areas of clinical performance, including client outcomes, caregiver satisfaction, treatment quality, and staff training. The evaluation involved direct observations of programming, interviews with staff and caretakers, records reviews, and surveys. 

Monarch has always been committed to providing exceptional behavioral health services, that embody effective and ethical treatment. We continue to monitor our service quality through annual self-audits, that measure areas of clinical performance that closely align with the standards used by the BHCOE to grant our award in 2018. Since receiving the award, we have developed our own Code of Practice that guides our gentle ABA approach.
